I’m Dominic, a long-time amateur photographer with a passion for telling stories through images.

My photography has grown alongside a varied career. I spent a couple of years as a secondary school mathematics teacher before moving into IT consultancy. I have also been a part-time musician for most of my life. These experiences taught me the importance of communication, patience and understanding people - qualities I now bring to my photography.

A couple of years ago, Long COVID forced me to step away from working life. It also gave me the opportunity to reassess where I wanted to take my photography as I recovered my health. What began as a long-standing passion is now becoming the next chapter of my working life, as I develop my practice towards professional photography.

I’m particularly drawn to landscape, portrait, wedding and editorial photography. I enjoy working with people and creating images that feel natural, genuine and considered, whether that means capturing the character of an individual, the atmosphere and emotion of a wedding day, or telling a wider story through an editorial project.

I’m now building on years of experience behind the camera with the aim of working professionally with people, publications and organisations who value thoughtful, authentic photography.

If you’re looking for photographs with personality, atmosphere and a sense of story, I’d love to hear from you.

I am available for landscape, documentary-style wedding, portrait, architecture and other commercial work around the UK
